Overview
How It All Began
Valérie (creative producer) and Chiara (Assistant Professor at University College Utrecht) met each other at Chi Kung class. Their curiosity about each other’s practices sparked a never-ending dialogue on education, personal development, and intercultural philosophy. The two started to collaborate with the aim of bringing academic thinking closer to society. From this, Food For Thought emerged, a co-creation of 7 students, 7 philosophers, chef Gilbert Kolff and Chi Kung teacher Rebekka Lüthi.
Laetitia Schoofs (commissioning editor KRO-NCRV), Renate Schepen (publisher Ten Have) and Jeroen Hopster (philosopher/author) generously added their talents to the process. We hope that you will enjoy the series so carefully filmed by Martijn Tervoort, Edwin Vermeulen, Guus Albregts, Manuel Reichert, Leon Paquay, Mike Vosmaer, Tom Nestelaar, and Max Vonk. Coordinated by Belinda Folkersma.
